Rain Rolls Across Big Bend Ranches and Towns
Good rains swept large areas of the Big Bend with many ranches from Miles Pierce to Pete Kennedy and Stillwell Crossing reporting showers. Marathon Alpine and nearby springs saw rises in Hackberry Draw and Bear Creek while lightning caused grass fires but no homes were damaged. Emory Purcell visited Alpine, others traveled for Mother's Day family gatherings in Alpine and nearby towns, and Coke Stevenson expressed affection for the Big Bend during park development days.

Tufted curtains and tailored spreads frame masculine bedroom
The room presents a masculine aesthetic with tweed curtains and tailored bedspreads. Neatly arranged furniture and bedding create a cohesive, orderly space that reads as a bedroom despite its design elements.
