Cake culprit? Illness follows sour milk found to be wax
Mrs Peart Prout and her three children fell ill after supper in Indianapolis. Police questioned the family about their meal, learning a relative had left a cake with sour milk. Testing revealed the milk came from a bottle containing liquid floor wax.
