Mrs Terry's Dance Pupils Recital Presented In High School
Becky Bird Terry presented a Friday recital in the high school auditorium featuring ballet toe tap and folk dance. Assistant Miss Faye Cutbirth of Big Lake accompanied by Carroll Lassiter master of ceremonies and Inda Adams produced. Teen age group enjoys entertainment at club
An evening of fun was enjoyed by a large group of pre teen folks last Friday at Alpine County club. Entertainment consisted of games dancing and floor show with Larry Spencer Dexter Thomas and David Thomas. Three monologues by Patsy Jo Williams and dances by Becky Terry and her dance pupils Brenda Logan and Barbara Davis. Hosts were Mr and Mrs D D Taoman Mr and Mrs Dan Ritter and Mr and Mrs Starry Carpenter.

Alpine Country Club hosts three couple evening
Three couples, Mr and Mrs J Holman, Mr and Mrs Wally Davis, and Mr and Mrs Earl Wcolrey, hosted an Alpine Country Club affair with daffodils and gladioli. Guests from Fort Stockton Marfa Fort Davis and Pecos enjoyed sandwiches snacks and coffee as John Carrico led a five piece orchestra.

Latin American Center board meets at 7:30 p.m. March 13
The Latin American Community Center board held its March meeting at 7 30 p m with seven board members and four workers present. A $39 22 on hand balance was reported. Members discussed February activities including Valentine parties, a trip to Ojinaga for Girl Scouts, a Cub Scout dinner, Boy Scout overnight camp in Marathon, and an Explorer Scout dinner attended by a El Paso council member. Funds were requested to send Mrs Phillips to a July 1982 Nashville mission workers workshop with an estimated 125 required for expenses.

West Texas DC Groups to Meet March 27 28
Abilene March 19 Directors and executive board of the West Texas chamber of commerce will gather at headquarters here March 26 and 27. President Frank H. Kelly announces the 19 member board has elevated new members after recent district elections of vice presidents and appointments of directors at large. Newly elected vice presidents include Jare Art Jordan Amarillo and Homer D. Grant Lubbock reelected, with others from Wichita Falls Denton Al Bill Collyns Midland Monahans and San Angelo. The board also includes Kelly and executive staff as ex officio members.
