Special meeting of stockholders of The Galveston Harrisburg and San Antonio Railway Company called by the Board of Directors to meet at the company's Houston office at noon on May 23 1910. Purpose to authorize first mortgage on specified properties from New York Texas Mexican to Gonzales Branch lines and related rights.
The Galveston Houston and Northern Railway Company conveyed by deed dated September 28, 1905 a railroad line from Houston in Harris County to Galveston in Galveston County. The conveyance included franchises and all property appurtenant, together with improvements or additions made since the acquisition.
The text outlines conveyances dated August 9 1905 from the San Antonio and Gulf Railroad to secure a mortgage. It covers a 47.05 mile line from Stockdale Wilson County through Wilson Gonzales and DeWitt to Cuero DeWitt, plus associated franchises and improvements. It includes a Galveston Bay bridge project under a December 15 1908 lease among multiple rail entities and the Galveston-Houston Electric Railway.

Messages up to midnight will be transmitted for delivery next morning in plain English. Night Letters aimed to speed long-distance business mail.
