San Antonio leads cattlemen convention meet vote tally
The Fort Worth based cattlemen’s convention chose San Antonio to host next year by a 197 to 122 vote over El Paso. James Callan was reelected president with Berkley Spiller as secretary and general manager. Sam Davidson and J D Jackson were named first and second vice presidents, with S B Barnett remaining treasurer. The Callan administration announced a new executive committee amid remarks on honesty and trust.
