L N Harper is named chairman and a 5 voter precinct campaign committee will select nominees urging turnout by proxy if needed. The notice argues to exclude Mexican influence and aligns with a Democratic primary in July. Legislature and railroad plans are also noted for Santa Fe extensions including Sterling City and a large West Texas expansion with hundreds of workers.
