Alpine Rotary Club in the 115th district posted a 99.44 attendance in April with four 100 percent meetings and one absence at the fifth gathering. Soldiers Jump From Train Near Tesnus Apprehended
MARATHON June 15. Pvt. Kenneth Caster and Pvt. Ellis Shaffer from Camp Shelby Miss jumped from a moving train at Tesnus about 25 miles east of Marathon on the Shely ranch last Sunday. They were apprehended and turned over to Deputy Sheriff Granter. Shaffer was picked up soon after, Caster the next morning. Both had injuries from the fall and were sent to Ft D. A. Russell after capture.

APS Officer Promoted to Captain at Advanced Flying School
