Sul Ross State College Wins $75,000 Annual Increase
Dr. Bryan Wildenthal announced Sul Ross State College will receive roughly $75,000 more each year, with $60,000 allotted for two years. A half million gallon water storage tank was approved to boost fire safety, bids expected around Sept. 1. The increase enables hiring eight or nine additional teachers and includes $30,000 yearly for maintenance and repairs.

The Milwaukee Braves baseball school returns for a second year at Koker Field starting next Wednesday through Saturday. Rules On Hunting To Be Discussed
All persons interested in the antelope hunting season in the Trans-Pecos area next October are urged to attend a public meeting at 8 o clock tonight in the district courtroom of the Brewster County Courthouse in Alpine.
