CAP Barbecue Attracts Large Big Bend CAP Flyers
Flyers from Plainview to Del Rio and across the Permian Basin attended a quarterly Civil Air Patrol barbecue at the US Border Patrol Rifle Range in Marfa. More than 100 ate goat with beans salads and coffee as they talk shop and showcase aircraft. Attendees traveled from Fort Davis and Alpine after services, many having participated in one or more of the squadron s twelve search and rescue missions in three years.
