Death and Burial of Louie C Johnson Fort Davis

Louie C. Johnson 54 of Fort Davis died at Shannon Hospital San Angelo at 1 40 p m Sunday May 2 after about ten days in Shannon following a stay at Brew County Memorial Alpine He operated Louie’s Cafe in Fort Davis for six years and was noted as an excellent cafe man with callers from afar Funeral services were at Fort Davis Methodist Church May 27 with Rev L C Lange Jr conducting and burial at Hillcrest Cemetery Survivors include wife Miss Cornelia Turley two brothers Sam Johnson Muskogee Okla and P L Johnson California and two sisters Miss Bessie Johnson and Mrs Beulah Parris Talequah Okla Local residents attended many helpers and a parade of visitors were noted
