Five Park Employees Hurt In Big Bend Crash
A two car collision in Big Bend National Park last Thursday night sent five National Park Concessions employees to Brewster County Memorial Hospital. The injured were Patsy McDaniel, Carol McDaniel, David Shearer, David Bardin, and Otto Rooney. The accident occurred when the bumpers of a 1959 Volkswagen locked with a 1982 Studebaker, and both cars overturned.

FFA GROUP RETURNS TO ALGINE STATE CONVENTION
Vocational Ag delegates to the state convention in Alpine include RM Brown Rey Babcock and Russell McAfee with instructors and students. They voted on local issues and after Brown returned he shipped six hogs to El Paso for sale totaling 1420 pounds at a ton weight. The chapter earned money from ch rots and rags with six hogs averaging 50 pounds monthly gain and a 17 cent chem rate.
