The City agrees to provide Meriwether water at up to four delivery points on the water system, within or outside City limits, and to furnish water at prevailing rates. The City may also dig or sink a water well on land of its choosing to supply additional quantities.

Alpine School Board approved contracts for four new teachers: Carolyn Spencer to replace J C Walker in Central 5th grade, Faye Davis to replace Natalie Gunter in high school girls PE, Mary Ola Kay to replace Johnnie Neely in Central 2nd grade, Shirley Stephenson to replace Dorothy Perryman in Central girls PE. Mrs Powell, a drama teacher whose students won a state championship last year, will teach in Odessa schools next year.
