Mohair Price Support Discussed In Washington Meeting
Texas Sheep and Goat Raisers Association leaders met with Agriculture Department officials in Washington on January 9 to discuss mohair price support at about 60 cents a pound and 90 percent of parity for wool. A later joint meeting with national groups proposed grower option to accept or reject government appraisal during the marketing year.
