Miss Sherry Kemp and William Allan Peters married at 3 30 PM Saturday December 28 in the First Methodist Church Alpine. Rev Clyde Chesnutt officiated before an altar of candelabra and white greenery with red poinsettias. Attendants included maid of honor Miss Carol Vogt and best man Fred Buchholz. The couple will reside in Lubbock after Peters finishes at Texas Tech.
Dr R C Gunstream superintendent of the Texas New Mexico District Church of the Nazarene will speak in Alpine at 7 p m on Thursday January 14 showing slides from a recent Holy Land trip The trip was awarded last May at the district assembly in recognition of 25 years of service to the Texas New Mexico District and the Church of the Nazarene.
The 31 bridges spanning the Seine in Paris include Pont Neuf, the oldest bridge in the city, also known as the New Bridge in its historic context.
