Mrs Shellie Barnes hosted a group of friends on Thursday with Knox Reid E C Coleman J W Sheppard FL McCollum Al Gerson and others among the guests Prizes were awarded with Mrs Reid high for ladies Dr Coleman high for men and Mrs McCool bingo winner. Reginald Wotans Tally ho club hosted Friday with guests Barnes Cecil La Beff Tine Sault and Helen Fielder. Rev and Mrs Fred S Rogers gave a turkey dinner Friday inviting Rev and Mrs Tvan Rue Elizabeth Rue of Fort Davis and others including Mrs Barnes and Mrs Carney. Open house at Mr and Mrs H E Gates from Dec 21 to 31 invited all friends with a festive tea table and dainty foods. New Year social events include Gene Parr hosting a New Year Eve dinner for the Francois of Rochester with Adams Kimball and other guests. games and roping and ranch trivia entertained the guests with prizes. The Presbyterian Woman s Council met at the hospital with Mrs D R Elpresiding. a worship program followed and various club updates shared. Walter Garnett hosted a Christmas dinner for family members including Bertha Garnett and Rue Garnett with several relatives present.
