Cancer Society Sends Big Shipment of Articles to Austin
The American Cancer Society Texas Division in Austin received a large donation from the local chapter. Forty-two dozen large pads, 22 bandages, and three dozen bed pad slips were sent. Local chairman Mrs. Jim Nichols expressed thanks to several women for sewing bandages and listed the Tuesday sewing participants at the Christian Church.
