County Quota Raised In Red Cross Drouth Drive
Brewster County raised its Red Cross drought relief quota to 106 dollars, exceeding the 100 dollar goal by six. Local money will stay in the treasury, with Marathon contributing 15 and 13 for territory use. The campaign, begun three weeks ago, drew on many business and civic leaders with little soliciting, and finished with a social of refreshments hosted by several local ladies.
