The All American Red Heads will face the VFW Thunderbirds at Alpine High Gym on Thursday February 19. The famous women’s basketball team tours the U S Canada Alaska Hawaii and has played 180 200 games yearly. They draw big crowds and are praised for speed and skill.

Seal Coat Bid Calls For 127 Miles in West Texas
Texas Highway Department invites sealed bids for seal coating 127 miles of highways in Brewster and Jeff Davis Counties. The work covers sections from 19 miles east of Marathon to the Pecos County line and includes routes U S 90 State 54 118 U S 62 190 and State 51 among others. Bids will be opened at 9 a m February 14 in Austin.
