Area Schools Enter Drama Festival in Alpine
Nine area high schools will participate in a full day drama festival at Sul Ross State College on February 6. Dr Katharine Boyd will direct with Shakespearean productions and scenes by visiting students. The event features talks, films, displays, and a performance of Othello by Sul Ross and a closing supper with color slides.

Centennial Wins 2 From Van Horn in Alpine
Alpine Centennial swept Van Horn for two wins last Thursday as the Jr. Girls beat Van Horn 24 16 and the Centennial Small Boys topped Van Horn 138 24. Imperial game saw Van Horn edge Centennial 25 24 in a hard fought finish. Centennial Girls remain undefeated at 6 0 this season.
