Plans for dedication of the new highway tunnel in Big Bend National Park were to be discussed at a 6 p.m. Monday February 9 meeting of the BBNP Development Committee Inc. at the Hotel Ballroom. Park Superintendent Stanley Joseph will attend as a special guest. Johnny Newell invited all interested in the park to attend and make reservations with him at Alpine. New officers will be elected and a progress report plus activities program for the year will be prepared.
