Fort Davis Community Notes Weather and Holiday Events
Fort Davis and the Davis Mountains saw little weather change after an early week light snow. Thermometer readings at McDonald Observatory ranged from 19 to 61 degrees with daily highs and lows listed. Visitors from Yerkes Observatory planned a 30 day stay for astronomical observing. Christmas cantata by Fort Davis Community Choir drew a large audience at the Presbyterian Church with reflections by local pastors and soloists.
