The Alpine High Class of 1957 schedules its 10th annual homecoming on Saturday December 23 with a banquet at the Green Cafe at 730 PM. Lolly Lockhart leads arrangements and after the banquet the group will view old class party movies at her home. attendees include Helen Bass Jane Bohannan Sue Bounds and many other alumni.

Mrs. Weyerts Laid to Rest in Alpine After Long Illness
Josie Rebecca Weyerts 72 died Friday at Brewster Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Funeral in First Christian Church with two pastors officiating. Burial in Elm Grove Cemetery. She was born Sept 12 1895 in Robert Lee and lived 67 years in Alpine. Survived by husband Fritz Bill Weyerts a son Fritz Bill Weyerts two sisters 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Daily winners list hunter, weight and kill location from Nov 25 to Dec 19 across Alpine Fort Davis Marfa Marathon and other ranches with ties noted. Banwood praised fat deer and called the season one of the best ever.
