McCracken and twoMrs George Baines Mrs Virgil Williams and Mrs George Martin as directors. Zeb Decie serves as temporary treasurer and Mrs Mabel Hamilton to be secretary. A membership drive will begin after Christmas.

Lieut. Charles F. Densford of the U S Army Air Corps Kelly Field will visit his parents on the Sul Ross campus in Alpine this weekend. He plans a deer hunt with Charles Chambers and hopes to shoot a flag-tail with a pistol. Densford has won national and Texas pistol championships and holds the world record in rapid fire accuracy.

Extension of Highway 90 Sought Across Texas
The Texas Highway Commission requested an extension of United States Highway 90 from Van Horn via state 54 to U S 62 near Signal Peak and to El Paso via No 62. The American Association of State Highway Officials was asked to designate the route. U S 90 currently runs year round from Jacksonville Florida to the west coast via Van Horn. U S 62 runs from El Paso to Carlsbad Caverns, New Mexico.

FCA Offices Move to Alpine in Texas District
Farm Security Administration offices moved from Presidio to Alpine to be nearer the district center covering Presidio Jeff Davis Brewster and Terrell counties. Supervisor Paul E. Probst says the FCA assists small ranchers and farmers and notes 20 loans in 60 days and 248 last year in the district. The office is in the Holland hotel building at Sixth street entrance. Mr and Mrs Probst are relocating with Mrs Susan F. P. Pearce in North Alpine.
