V Mail Letters Sent to American Forces Abroad
The Post Office reports V-Mail service started June 15 1942 is in an experimental stage with weekly increases in letters mailed to American soldiers overseas. War Department expands facilities to handle future volume. photogravure for V-Mail to and from the United States and British Isles, Australia, India, Hawaii and other points is in operation.
