Marathon Men Volunteer as Army Truck Drivers

Ration Book 3 Preview Delayed Release In June

Major McGlothlan, RAF School Adjutant, Dies at 60
Major John Edward McGlothlan, post adjutant at the advanced flying school, died suddenly last Friday morning after 40 years in army service. He served on the border during the 25 years ago disturbances and in World War I with the 6th Field Artillery as chief warrant officer. In July 1942 he was ordered to active duty as a major in the reserves and assigned to the Hawaiian department as assistant adjutant. He reported to the flying school after it was established and is survived by his widow Mrs Nella G. McGlothan of San Antonio and a son, John Edward Je, at Pearl Harbor.

Recognition of New TDG Company at Terlingua Made Official
The Terlingua home station of the Texas Defense Guard Co C 3rd Battalion was made official on March 30 by General Orders No 22 issued April 20.
