Alpine schools train over hundred girls in chorus event

Bogel directed both choirs, noting a shift from school vs school competition to pursuing five levels of musical proficiency. The Central chorus of 70 was the largest ever in the group’s Interscholastic League activities, while Centennial’s 29 voices fluctuated between 25 and 40. Alpine schools used two buses to transport the students to Marfa, with many teachers and parents lending cars to ferry the rest.
