Atlas Proprieter Fined Fifty Dollars for Prostitution Use
Francia L. Smith proprietor of the Atlas hotel was fined fifty dollars and costs by County Judge L. Ari Friday after being charged with knowingly allowing his place of business to be used for prostitution. He appealed to the district court, posting a one hundred thirty dollar bond. Witnesses included Marshal Wheeler, Sheriff Cox, Mayor Ronnie, and Police Magistrate Roberts. County Attorney Baaye prosecuted.
