Funeral of N H Hicks Held in Alliance
N H Hicks died Sunday night in Worland Wyoming from heart trouble. A veteran of the Spanish American War he contracted the illness in the Philippines as a member of Company H First Colorado Regiment. His funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at the Hicks home 407 Laramie Avenue Alliance. The widow brought the body from Worland Tuesday night. He visited Alliance two months ago for his mother's funeral. she died February 27 and was buried March 4. He is survived by his widow two brothers J L Hicks of a ranch southeast of Alliance and George Hicks of Ravenna employed by the Burlington.
