William Parker letters from Springfield Missouri recounts that the Springfield and Alliance central school buildings burned the same day under similar circumstances. Parker notes he still owns property in Alliance and wishes the court to act swiftly on the matter.
Miss Emma Baker daughter of Mr and Mrs F M Baker and Mr Lewie Eaton of Torrington Wyoming united in marriage at the Bone home December 2. Rev Witte of the Baptist church officiated. Guests included family members and friends. the couple will live on their ranch after a brief visit.
A Christmas house party was held at the residence of Mr and Mrs RK Lester. Guests included Mr and Mrs UH Carroll parents of Mrs Lester and Mr and Mrs WE Carroll with their son from Harrison. The Carrols arrived with wives and sons and will stay through Saturday. The gathering was enjoyed by all parties.
John Andrew Kinney born January 24 1840 in Green County Kentucky died December 22 1912 in Alliance Nebraska from pneumonia fever. He served in the Union army 1862 63 then moved to Nebraska 1910 and lived with daughter Mrs Those Rock. Funeral Monday afternoon at his daughter’s residence with Rev Witte conducting burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
Mise Mayme P Tyson of Alliance and Mrs Herbert H Hughes of Laurel Montana were quietly married in the parlor of a Baptist church. They will visit relatives in Alliance and Mannville Wyoming before settling in Laurel Montana where Mr Hughes is employed. Relatives and friends wish them a long and happy life.
