Hobart Store Burns Amid Fire Menace
Fire in the basement of Vincent and Isaacson store at Hobart destroyed the building yesterday afternoon. A dray load of merchandise was saved and the nearby EB W Cook residence was saved by crowd effort. Isaacson cut his hand while aiding stock. Tsaae son escaped from the basement. Local help from Algona aided in rescue.

A Phenomenal Car Rolls Into Algona Hyatt Roller Exhibit
A 1909 Buick known as the Hyatt Roller arrived in Algona on its 12,000 mile cross country trip. The car has logged over 271,679 miles on one bearings set and burned 18,000 gallons of gasoline. It has worn out more than 800 tires valued at over $8,000 while on display at Willhite Bros. office drawing many onlookers. A second hand range is offered for sale by Joba Wolf, phone 6 on 24.
