While driving home Sunday James Devine family lost lights on the grade west of town and their car overturned injuring Mr. D knee and a two year old boy’s ankle. Mrs D shoulder and face scorched. mother Mrs Holdren badly bruised. Numerous neighbors visited kin and local households. several farms reported activity including new garages mills and hog houses. The R I Association meeting was postponed due to weather to November 3. other items note visits, sales, and residents moving or traveling in Kossuth county. Reverend Moir announced services for next Sunday at 2 30.
Nine o'clock Tuesday morning witnessed the marriage of Miss Mary Huschka and Mr. Jos Raskopf at the Catholic church with Rev J B Baeumler officiating. The couple were attended by Miss Agnes Huschka and Mr Anthony Huschka. Nearby residents and visitors include Mrs Schmitz from Harbor Iowa, Miss Florence Stevens from St Paul visiting at the Huschka home, and various local movers and guests from St Cloud and Chicago. Work on wiring the Catholic church continued this week as renovations proceed.
