Sugar restrictions tighten to 50 percent of normal use
The Hoover Food Administration announced tighter sugar limits effective July 1. Home consumption ration set at three pounds per capita monthly. Less essential items drop to 50 percent of normal, ice cream production to 75 percent, soda fountains to 59 percent, and on-site ice cream and confectionery production to 60 percent. 6000 Ton Cargo Ship Completed in 73 Days
