Aunt Mary Slaymaker 87 Dies After 1930 Injury
Mary Jane Stagg Slaymaker died at Jane Lamb hospital Clinton on April 14 1930 after a fall fractured her right hip. Born 1842 in Geneseo Illinois she spent most of life in Albany Newton and Wingsbury church service. Survived by nieces nephews and grandchildren she left a long record of church work and care for others. Funeral April 16 at the late home and Presbyterian church, interment in Kingsbury cemetery beside her husband.

Ralph Bush of Albany learned of his grandmother Mrs. Roelf Bush of Fullom death last Thursday night. Born Jennie Van Straten on November 14 1838 in the Netherlands she came to the United States in 1888 and left 192 descendants including Ralph Bush. Funeral was held Monday at the Christian Reformed church of Fulton with Rev. Blick officiating and burial in Fulton cemetery.

Death of Morrison Pioneer Charles H. Trauger at 72
Charles H. Trauger, 72, Morrison resident and county pioneer, died at his home on April 10 1930 after weeks of illness. He was born July 23 1857, married Alta May Ewing in 1879, and lived in Clinton Iowa before returning to Morrison. Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian Church with interment in Grove Hill cemetery. He leaves his widow, three children, two sisters, five grandchildren, and several in-laws.
