Montagne Daughter Born and Clergymen Urge Liquor Vote
A daughter to Mr and Mrs Frank Montagne on Sept 16 1913 is announced. About twenty Plymouth County clergymen urged voters to refuse to sign the general consent statement that would legalize saloons and liquor sales again. A 20 month old son of Mr and Mrs John Orban of Johnson township near Adaville drowned after falling into a well while the mother was bedridden. Carrie Ringsrud of Elk Point wed Arthur J Adams of Akron Sept 5 1918 at the bride’s parents home and they started homemaking on a farm two miles east of Akron.
