Pilgrim Fellowship Reaches Black Hills Camp
At 5:00 a.m. on Monday August 26, ten Pilgrim Fellowship members plus counselors Mrs Evelyn Banks and Mrs Lenore Banks traveled to a camp 18 miles NW of Rapid City. They arrived about 4:00 p.m. to four finished cabins and one under construction, with a trout stream nearby where the group caught about two dozen fish. A rock slide creates a swimming pool below the cabins, while wildlife such as chipmunks woodchucks deer and goats are present in the hills.

Christmas Seal Workers Plan September 17 Meeting
Volunteer workers from 19 counties will meet at Grace Lutheran Church Storm Lake on Tuesday September 17 for the third of five Christmas Seal Regional Workshops. The full day program covers tuberculosis updates and new Christmas Seal campaign techniques with speakers from the Iowa Tuberculosis and Health Association and others.
