Fire siren resolution in Akron Iowa council action

Akron Iowa town council passed a resolution September 6 1938 requesting N W Bell Telephone Co permit installation of a switch in its Akron office to power an electric fire siren. City will maintain the siren but the telephone company bears no liability for construction maintenance operation or failures. Registered by city clerk Alvin R Manning with seal.
