Bertsel Brown Dies at 69 Longtime Plymouth County Leader

Bertsel Brown 69 of route 2 Merrill retired farmer and community leader died October 17 1972 at Sioux City St Luke's Medical Center after a long illness He was active in Plymouth county affairs serving on Plymouth REA board and Northwest Iowa Power Co op among other posts His survivors include his wife Ethel a brother a sister and several nieces and nephews Funeral services were held at the Adaville United Methodist church with Masonic rites at the Maver funeral home in Le Mars Burial followed in Pleasant Valley Cemetery Rural Merrill.
