County Education Board Transacts Business in September Canvass
The Plymouth County Board of Education met in the County Superintendent's Office on Monday forenoon September 25 to canvass results of the September 11 school board election. Norman W. Heeren was elected Member at Large and Robert B. Phelpy was chosen Director for Area No. 3. Heeren serves October 1 1975 to October 1978 and Phelpy serves until October 1971. The board approved expenditures and set actions on routine matters including continuing plans for a county special education class in LeMars and a trainable pupil class in Remsen Elementary with Ella Claassen as teacher.
