The Library of Congress long running talking books program now extends to people with other physical handicaps via a new Division for the Blind and Physically Handicapped. Readers may borrow free of charge through 84 cooperating regional libraries and 64 lending agencies. A medical certification from a doctor or professional staff member is required to obtain materials, sent to the regional library or Library of Congress. Information and catalogs available from Easter Seal Society for Crippled Children and Adults of Des Moines, Iowa. George Hall of La Porte City reports two prize banana squashes this year, 40 pounds and 42 inches long, and 38 pounds and 36 inches long.

Choose Style of New Band Uniforms for AHS
