The Register Briganes publisher Ray A Smith announces subscription rates: one year two dollars, six months one dollar, three months six hundred. Publication occurs every Thursday in Akron Town and the paper is entered as second class mail dated Sept. 26 1901.
Westfield residents report visits and departures of family and friends from Geddes to Sioux City and Elkton. Mrs. Dollie Stewart travels to Ft Wayne Indiana. the Ladies Aid thrift sale raises funds. The Westfield school building contract is approved by the PWA and work will begin. Various locals host guests from Yankton Sioux City Milwaukee and Los Angeles while seniors plan rings and announcements.
Mr and Mrs Ben Borelers with daughters Bernice and Betty visited Abe Miller Sunday evening. Mr and Mrs Charles Johnson and children dined at Joe Johnson's home Sunday. Mr and Mrs John Tapper and daughter Dorothy and sons Lester and Orville with Mrs Claire were mentioned in the household diary.
A string of Sunday visits featured Manyhead and sons Norman and Vir gil, Mr and Mrs Frank Johnson and Merlin and Caran Ann, Mrs Barth Miller, and Mr and Mrs Fred Breitharth with Randall Glenn Vernon and Joan. George Miller visited Ben Borchers, and Lambert Jeffers with daughters Marion and Sue Carol visited Frank Jeffers. Join Elks hosts were Elmer Molten and daughter, Mrs John Schmidt, Fred Erks and Enno Henrichis. Friends gathered to celebrate Randall Breithbarth’s birthday Wednesday evening.
