Armistice Day noted with local gatherings in town

Stella Mac Olson returns from Armistice Day in her home. Mrs. Josh Lilly visits family in the east. Harry Chapman enrolls in eleventh grade and will help with cream and poultry purchases with Miss Clara Chapman. Community Hall hosts a shower for Mrs. Arthur Kontz with bridge and 500 games and a gifts viewing. Multiple visits, theater plans, and local social events fill the week as residents travel to Sioux City and Vermilion for activities and work.
