Mr and Mrs Bert Bradleyard spent Tuesday evening at the Elmer Hultgren home with family. Mrs John Hultgren Ione Dorothy Hultgren and Pete Nelson visited the Eric Widmarek home. Mrs Bertil Westin left Akron hospital Wednesday and is convalescing at her sister Mrs Eric Widmarek’s home after appendicitis surgery.
Pleasant Hill Halloween Party at School Featured
Miss Irene Johnson stayed with Clarence Andrews as guests thronged Pleasant Hill for a Halloween party at the school. About 80 guests attended with prizes for best costumes and a late lunch.
Elkton Couple Wed In Westfield Ceremony
Arthur Konitz of Elkton wed in a church service to the strains of Lohengrin played by Mrs. Gant. Rev Fr. Rotter officiated as Lucille Gibbons sang two hymns. The bridal party later dined at the bride’s parents home with many invited guests. The bride is a Westfield High School graduate and well liked. the groom is a familiar figure in the area.
