Clear-View Crossroads 4-H project completed

The Clear-View Crossroads activity of the County 4-H program finished with 51 members removing corn from 54 rural intersections to reduce dangerous crossings. Duane Buehler says the effort aims to prevent serious traffic accidents, with LeMars Savings Bank hosting a banquet for participants and leaders on November 1 at 6 30 p.m.

Big Springs Baptist Church Weekly Schedule

Plymouth County Farm Bureau Rural Urban Day brought 81 members and guests to the girls 4-H building in LeMars on October 26. Mrs. Ronald Hinspeter led devotions, a panel titled Partners for Progress featured speakers on automation, farming as business, and farmers' clients, with several music numbers and a World Round doll collection. Door prizes and refreshments followed.
