Obituary: Edward J. Willms Dies at 61 in Sioux City
Edward J. Willms died last Thursday evening November 2 1972 in his car along Riverside Boulevard Sioux City Iowa from a heart illness. He was 61. Born November 18 1910 in Emden Germany he lived much of his life in Akron and Union Creek areas, worked as farmer carpenter and IBP employee, married Myrtle Gunderson in Akron 1959. she preceded him in death September 26 1972. Survived by daughter Claudia Begnoche Sioux City grandsons Mark and Robert Small Sioux City brother Henry Akron sisters Jana Hebert Sioux City Otilda Heyl Akron and many relatives. Funeral service at Schroeder Funeral Chapel with Pastor Roy officiating and interment at Union Creek Church Cemetery.
