Chatsworth Chatter: Hawarden and Sioux City Visits
Mrs Orin Harris and Mrs G J Vandenberg were Sioux City visitors on Saturday. Several local residents and couples, including the Seheifen and Scheifen families, traveled to Sioux City for business or social visits. A birthday and anniversary celebrations near Hawarden and neighboring towns drew gatherings of relatives and friends with meals and gifts.

Gas pumps installation at the old Adaville store and a May 26 revival meeting led by Rev Cahill with Emil Nelson were noted. The Ada ville school closes Friday with a picnic and patrons invited to try the Want Ad column.
