Akron High School presented a May 3 1968 program titled The World of Robert Benchley featuring Robert Morrisey as Benchley. The touring theater star earned the Milwaukee Sentinel Young Americana on Stage award in 1966 and has dramatic credits from high school and university.
Kathy Goordriel, daughter of Mr and Mrs M B Goodrieh, born June 6 1950 in Sioux City, attends First Assembly of God Church. She enjoys sewing, subjects include American Government Speech English and math, participates in Pep Club FHLA Band and Chorus, plans to attend Central Bible College Springfield Missouri after high school.
Jerry Jalna born September 2 1950 in LeMars Town is senior at Akron area school. He is active in sports and clubs including track wrestling football Boy's Glee intramurals FPA A-Club Drama Club and Chorus. His favorite subjects are Vocational Agriculture Government English and Consumer's Math. He serves as senior class officer and is praised for long list of hobbies and interests. The school notes reflect a year of study in Social Studies science and language arts with projects and puppet shows and a closing wish for a happy vacation.
