Obituary of John Christensen 1894 1970 Akron man
John Christensen, 75, Akron, died Friday April 26 in Knoxville after a long illness. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Schroeder funeral home with Rev. David J. Roy officiating. burial in Riverside cemetery. Born February 25, 1894, at Elk Point, he farmed near Akron and was a World War I veteran. Survived by two brothers George and Julius and a sister Mrs. Wyatt Heyl, all of Akron.
