Border Bells 4-H Club Holds February Meeting

The Border Bells 4-H club met at 2 p.m. on Monday February 21 1977 at Karen Kroksh’s home. Eight members attended. Minutes were approved. Karen Kroksh led the pledges to the 4-H and American flags. New business included bringing a foreign food to the next meeting and making party favors for a nursing home on St Patrick’s Day. A $5 contribution was allocated to the 4-H United Service Foundation. Hospital auxiliary bake sale set for April 2

The Akron hospital auxiliary met at 7 30 p m on Monday March 14 in the hospital meeting room. Progress coffee or teas have netted 299 to date. Sing Along books for the nursing home were purchased from this fund. The bake sale will be held Saturday April 2 from 10 a m to 5 p m at Dr Garvin's office. The meeting also covered membership cards.
