Westfield eighth graders boost magazine drive drive ends March 21

Westfield eighth graders push magazine orders with a March 21 deadline. The school year winds toward the end of the third nine weeks with parent teacher conferences March 22 to 24. Dismissal at 2 00 pm on conference days. Notable items include reading consultant Miss Sharon Slezak at the Westfield Teachers Association meeting, awards night and commencement decisions by high school staff, and Mr Tiller chosen to judge the Hawkeye Science Fair at Drake University on April 7. The Iowa State Conservation Commission announced three opening dates for the 1972-73 hunting seasons. Pheasants and Hungarian partridge start November 11, quail on October 28, and squirrel and rabbit on September 9.
