Garland Friends Visit Oregon Relatives and Local Guests
About forty relatives gathered at Ed Lewison's home Tuesday evening to visit Rev Bertram Peter sen and wife along with Rev Holmes and Paul Knapp from Eugene Oregon. The group traveled from Flasher North Dakota after visiting Rev Petersen's parents in Flasher. Several local families hosted and attended baptisms and visits with kin from Devil's Lake Sioux Falls and Sioux City. A large Ladies Aid meeting occurred at Herman Jacobs Sr. home with many area residents attending and shopping in Sioux City. Delbert Hamilton spent a few days with his grandparents and various relatives visited Ed Lewison's home and family members in the area.
